Day 1: 12th April 2025:
09:00 – 15:00: Live operative surgery. Cases to be demonstrated include
laparoscopic cholecystectomy, appendectomy, TAPP for groin hernia, P-TEP for
groin hernia, e-TEP for groin hernia, IPOM+ for ventral abdominal wall hernias.
Cases will be posted depending on availability of suitable candidates.
15:00 – 15:15: Inaugural ceremony.
15:15 – 16:00: Panel discussion. Topic: The present status and the future of minimally invasive surgery.

10:00 – 10:15: Setting up a MIS Operation Suite.
10:15 – 10:30: Sterilization and disinfection in laparoscopic surgery.

10:45 – 11:00: Video presentation (12+3 minutes) Laparoscopic cystogastrostomy
for WOPN (walled off pancreatic necrosis).
11:00 – 11:15: Training opportunities in laparoscopic surgery
11:15 – 12:00: Panel discussion: Complications of laparoscopic cholecystectomy. (Moderator: Prof. Jugindra)
12:00 – 12:30: Minimally invasive extraperitoneal hernia repairs for ventral
abdominal wall hernias.
12:30 – 13:15: Panel discussion. Topic: Complications of laparoscopic hernia
surgery: prevention and management. (Moderator: Prof. Rajdeep Singh)
13:15 – 13:30: Valedictory function and Vote of thanks (by MISA
President/Secretary)
